Avengers, first attempt

So, my concept for the avengers was that they were meant to be black. I think they look really good black. However, at some stage while I was painting my exarch, blue crept into the mix.

I am not sure I particularly like these models.

I had an 'aha' moment, just as I was finishing them - they would look awesome if painted to resemble roman praetorians - with brassy armour and red detailing. It's not like I expect I will stick to the colours for any other of my aspect warriors...
